Excavation Risk Assessment

Following development with the Crossrail safety team specifically to fulfil their TARGET ZERO strategy, we are delighted to offer this specific type of survey as a new service to all clients. The Excavation Risk Assessment is a Utility Survey of a single site where an excavation is planned. The survey is undertaken using both radio location and ground penetrating radar techniques and the completed drawing of the site area is produced on one double sided A3 sheet. The finished survey drawing contains a plan of the site, a cross section and a written description of the utility hazards that an excavation crew will come across.  The style of the drawing has also been designed to enable any excavation crew to quickly and clearly understand the hazards so that the excavation can be undertaken safely.
