This year’s National Sports & Physical Activity Convention will be available and online and ready for the delegates to watch the aspects the missed on the NSC Academy from 1st August.

Over 600 people have come together to hear the new leadership in Australia for sport, with The Hon Minister Anika Wells, Minister for Aged Care, Minister for Sport using the National Sports & Physical Activity Convention as her first industry engagement.

With over 70 stands the industry can visit free of charge and explore the latest trends and solutions from the sector to help grow participation and create infrastructure that will be sustainable.

The National Sports & Physical Activity Convention (NSC) tonight celebrated the award finalists and presented the Sport, Recreation and Play Innovation Awards at the NSC Oration in Melbourne. Surround by over 350 of their peers, the winners where celebrated and applauded when sharing some of their innovations in how to grow participation and be more sustainable. The awards were made possible through the support from the NSC Innovation and Awards Partner, Fieldturf Australia.

A future focus is vital during the design and inception phases of new projects if we are to anticipate what society will expect from our buildings and cities tomorrow. Assuming they should look and perform like they do today will not be a recipe for success.

The NSC Sport & Recreation Expo provides an interactive environment for Australian and global solution providers to showcase their latest innovations and solutions for the industry.

Community club experts CLUBMAP will run two workshops at NSC Expo on Tuesday 10.00am-10.45am and Wednesday 12.00pm-12.45pm (Meeting Room 1) to showcase their proven approach to creating and supporting healthy clubs, leagues, associations and sporting organisations.
