October is the month of the Rosary, but it is also one of the most “star-studded” months in terms of recognizable feast days.
That conviction—faithful, steady, and formed through hardship—has shaped every chapter of Manny’s life.
A former Disney executive with a background in product innovation, Joe had built a successful career in corporate leadership. But at home, he was just a dad trying to keep a volleyball from shattering his kitchen. That moment—equal parts frustration and fatherhood—sparked an idea that would become Ollyball: a lightweight, colorable indoor ball now found in homes, hospitals, and classrooms across the world.
In 1947, the Virgin Mary appeared to a rabidly anticlerical Protestant at Rome's Grotto of the Tre Fontane and converted him to Catholicism. She identified herself as the Virgin of Revelation. That apparition inspired the "spiritual" birth of the Missionaries of Divine Revelation, which won formal approval from the Diocese of Rome as a Catholic religious community after a long experience of lay consecration with a religious character. Identifying their mission as "apostles of the mystery of the Church," the missionaries seek to spread divine revelation through catechesis and evangelization. Pam Raymond, a member of Legatus' Bucks County Chapter, recently became an Oblate of the Missionaries of Divine Revelation—which, true to their roots in an earthly appearance by Mary, encourages a strong devotion to the Blessed Mother.
Berni Neal didn't join Legatus to add another title to her resume. She joined because something in her heart stirred at the idea of living one integrated life—where faith, family, and leadership weren't separate callings, but one shared mission.
