This holiday, The Macallan has collaborated with Compartés Chocolate to create a limited edition whisky and chocolate pairing kit. 100% of proceeds from The Macallan Harmony Collection: Rich Cacao X Compartés Chocolate Pairing Kit will be donated to Food Rescue US to reduce hunger and food waste in America. For every kit purchased, Food Rescue US and The Macallan will be able to provide 3,600 meals to those in need and keep 4,320 pounds of excess food out of landfills.

FAIRFIELD, Conn.—SHU Dining at Sacred Heart University is excited to announce a partnership with local food recovery organization, Food Rescue US – Fairfield County. Food Rescue US – Fairfield County will pick up excess food each week from Sacred Heart University’s all-you-care-to-eat dining hall, 63’s.

As part of this new partnership, GetUpside, a community-driven app that lets you earn cash back, will donate a portion of their revenue from restaurant and grocery transactions to Food Rescue US. GetUpside is a platform that lets you shop as usual and earn cash back while making sure businesses earn too. GetUpside was founded in 2015 with the goal of strengthening communities, but it doesn’t end there. Every transaction through GetUpside benefits the world at large, offsetting carbon and reducing food waste so that our communities thrive for years to come.

Food Rescue US provides its web-based app to like-minded, mission-driven organizations to help end hunger and reduce emissions caused by food waste.

The Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA) announced that the Good Food for All program will bring more than 610,000 servings of high-quality fruits and vegetables to over 1,000 families in Columbus with the help of local distribution partner Food Rescue US. Expanding on last year’s successful COVID-19 Fresh Food Fund, the Good Food for All program is designed to provide nourishing, high-quality produce to Columbus families in need, while creating a platform to raise awareness for the need for long-term changes to the food system in pursuit of health equity.

Stamford, CT – This month Food Rescue US and Connecticut Food Bank / Foodshare announced a new partnership after piloting a program between the two organizations. The partnership is a long-hoped-for goal for both organizations, but more importantly, a massive boon to the community both serve.

Since the devastating Champlain Towers condominium collapse in Surfside, FL last week, Food Rescue US – South Florida immediately took action by providing meals to those evacuated and staying in local hotels. Partnering with local restaurants, volunteers have been delivering freshly made meals, along with water and other beverages. Food Rescue US – South Florida has also been providing food and beverages to first responders working tirelessly day an night onsite.
