Coincidences as Connection

During an Ayahuasca ceremony, a participant looked across the ceremonial circle and noticed tattoos in the Maori tribe style starting to form on another participant’s face. He watched, enraptured. After the ceremony, the participant’s friend approached him and exclaimed, “I saw the weirdest thing during the ceremony! There was a woman who started getting Maori tattoos all over her face!” The participant gave his pal a startled look. How is it possible that they experienced the same hallucination? Winner of First Annual Research Prize to be Announced on June 24th

More than 100 applicants submitted essays for the Linda G. O’Bryant Noetic Sciences Research Prize. The new prize was created to recognize groundbreaking research in the field of consciousness and will be awarded annually to a researcher or research team whose work contributes significantly to the field of noetic sciences. It carries a cash award of $100,000, as well as the opportunity to present the winning essay at an award ceremony. This year’s program will be held on June 24, 2023. IONS was founded in June 1973.
