Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an extremely hot topic right now, and for good reason! Some say it could have the same kind of profound impact on human life as fire or electricity. As more and more advanced AI technologies develop, it’s important to ask how these developments might impact human consciousness and vice versa – how might our consciousness impact how artificial intelligence develops, especially if we consider IONS guiding hypothesis that everything is interconnected?

In these contexts, these substances have been used for healing purposes across many cultures. You may have noticed the resurgence of a psychedelic renaissance. There is a revival of interest in clinically studying their potential therapeutic effects for a wide range of health problems – such as mental health, addiction, and chronic pain – in clinical settings.

Last month, The Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) announced that 108 essays were submitted for the Linda G. O’Bryant Noetic Sciences Research Prize. The prize was established to recognize groundbreaking research in the field of consciousness. IONS is now pleased to announce the identification of 10 finalists for the $100,000 prize.
