“Florida’s Space Coast and Space Launch Delta 45 continue to add to our reputation as the world’s premier gateway to space with the addition of Astra to Cape Canaveral’s ever-growing launch cadence,” said Lynda L. “The opening of Lockheed Martin’s ‘factory of the future’ in Titusville is an excellent example of the long-game of economic development and the direct result of a successful EDC strategic capture plan for the Crew Exploration Vehicle, which became Orion. I want to thank Lockheed Martin for their enduring commitment to the Space Coast – which includes their Fleet Ballistic Missile Headquarters also in Titusville – and their recognition of what our community brings to the table.”
