Our team believes that strong partnerships are built on more than just projects. But rather, they’re nurtured through genuine connection and shared experiences. That’s why we’ve been thrilled to host a series of creative events specifically designed for the vibrant architect and design community. Our DC, Maryland, and Virginia business development manager, EB Srygley has been holding cookie decorating events at firms across the DMV since the start of the year.

As workplaces and workforces evolve, so do our views on the ‘ideal’ office layout for optimal practicality and productivity. Ultimately, the only true solution is an outcome that allows flexibility for the future – a solution like glass wall interiors. We’ve compiled a list of some of the top reasons our clients choose glass wall interiors.

As of April 2025, nearly 70% of companies now have formal return to office (RTO) plans. Some are sticking with a hybrid schedule, while others are requiring employees back to the office full-time. For those Design and Construction industries, this means we have a massive responsibility to create spaces that are not only functional, but also inspiring. Here at MetroWall, we’re experts in designing premium glass partitioning, and we work with clients to redevelop workspaces to find safe solutions tailored to your environment.

ADA compliance is a critical component of making accessible and inclusive commercial environments for all users. But meeting these needs can be challenging for architects and designers. This is why having a trusted glass wall expert, like MetroWall, is so important. Some of the most common challenges we see A&D professionals facing are:

We’re excited to announce that our EXTEND Series, the solution for flexibility, has been featured in the April/May issue of Metropolis Magazine. In today’s fast-paced and ever-evolving work environments, flexibility isn’t just a luxury—it’s a necessity. Our EXTEND offers a dynamic, adaptable solution for modern spaces.

Architect and design professionals are constantly juggling aesthetics, functionality, budget, and, increasingly, geopolitical factors like import tariffs. Importing glass wall materials from overseas can expand lead time and increase costs, adding complexity and risk to a project. As a result, choosing a US-based glass partition manufacturer like MetroWall lowers project lead times, has more predictable costs, increases sustainability, and mitigates risk.

Choosing MetroWall’s powder-coated glass wall interior frames contributes to creating more sustainable and environmentally responsible commercial spaces. The reduced environmental impact during production, enhanced durability, and recyclability benefits make powder coating a clear winner over anodized finishes. Let’s take a closer look at these advantages

Switchable glass (aka smart glass) is one of several specialty glass options we offer for our premium glass wall systems. Increased energy efficiency, enhanced privacy, and improved aesthetics make switchable glass an enticing long-term solution for many of our commercial clients. In fact, according to MarketWatch, the global switchable market will almost double from $6.42 billion in 2025 to $10.42 billion in 2030.

We often get asked by architects and designers if MetroWall has Revit files or shop drawings available for our glass wall systems. And the answer is, Yes! Revit files are indispensable tools that help stakeholders make more informed decisions throughout the design phase of a project. While shop drawings ensure this vision is accurately brought into reality. Both Revit files and shop drawings offer better visualization, early error detection, and enhanced communication.

MetroWall is pleased to announce the addition of enhanced Tech Panels to our product portfolio, designed to seamlessly integrate technology into interior glass wall systems. Flush with MetroWall’s Hush System, these customized panels offer cutting-edge advancements in technology and a clean and modern aesthetic, while enhancing functionality and efficiency in any space.
