The average person might not give much thought to their front door. In their daily lives, they might not even use their front door — they only open it when someone is visiting. The reality of the matter is that you don’t often see your front door, much less devote time to thinking about it. 

We talk mostly about high security doors in our office. After all, that’s what our clients are primarily interested in. And to be fair, they offer the most options for customization, from covering options to state-of-the-art technology to larger than life pivot doors. There’s no shortage of ways we can create one-of-a-kind security doors for our clients.

Integrating our security management system into home automation is one of the most fascinating aspects of what we do at FBS. That might sound strange considering that we make custom security doors for affluent clients all around the world — that work in and of itself is interesting enough.

 

You may have seen on our website that our main headquarters is in Coral Springs, Florida. Of course, that means we talk about hurricanes most days of the week. Obviously, there isn’t a hurricane brewing quite that frequently, but hurricane preparedness requires constant, diligent effort, especially since severe storms can occur with varying frequency in this region.

Given the physical location of our headquarters — South Florida — we discuss hurricane certification on a daily basis. It’s a major concern for our clients in both residential and commercial settings. In fact, you can’t even sell windows or doors in this region if they’re not hurricane-certified — and of course, we only sell doors and windows, so this is an important distinction for us.

Every day at FBS, we’re working with clients, architects, and interior designers to help create luxury homes unlike any other. We may not be creating floor plans or choosing color palettes, but we believe that our part — assisting with the doors and windows — plays a major role in luxury home design.
