The United States appears on the brink of cyber catastrophe. As recent attacks on Kaseya, SolarWinds, Colonial Pipeline, JBS and others have demonstrated, the nation’s digital and physical critical infrastructure is under increasing assault from highly sophisticated cyber adversaries. The Biden Administration’s recent memoranda underscored that no company is safe from a business-crippling cyber event.  And it’s abundantly clear, despite increasing investment in cyber tools and programs, existing approaches to cyber defense are simply not working. 

Axio would like to congratulate Lisa Young, Vice President of Cyber Risk Engineering for her appointment to the Board of Directors of (ISC)², the world’s largest nonprofit association of certified cybersecurity professionals.

We’re excited to welcome Eric Cardwell to our Axio management team as the Director of Cyber Risk Engineering. He will be responsible for addressing cyber risk requirements for industry clients, identifying government and trade association contracts, and driving innovation in the advancement of security and financial controls across the energy and utilities sector.

Our Axio team is excited to have Daniel Hirt as our new Vice President of Operations and Strategy. Hirt will be responsible for building a scalable organizational structure that facilitates and sustains rapid growth.

Axio is excited to announce the appointment of Pamela Curtis as Vice President, Process Engineering, and Lisa Young as Vice President, Service Delivery. Both individuals are joining Axio from the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University.
