Step 1: Create the Following View-Only Functions

Start with the following view-only functions:

***Change ABC_ to the proper custom responsibility naming convention for your organization.

Each function should have their parameters set to QUERY_ONLY=”YES” as follows:

Step 2: Define the System Administrator – View Only Menu

Next, define the following menus – again substitute the ABC for whatever is your organization’s naming convention for menus.

50	Functions Form: View	ABC Functions: View Only
60	Menus Form: View	ABC Menus: View Only
70	Profile System Values Form: View	ABC Profile System Values: View Only
80	Request Groups Form: View	ABC Request Groups: View Only
90	Users Form: View	ABC Users: View Only
100	Responsibilities Form: View	ABC Responsibilities: View Only
110	FlexField Cross-Validation Rules Form: View	ABC Cross Validation Rules: View Only
120	Assign FlexField Security Rules Form: View	ABC Assign Flexfield Security Rules: View Only
130	Flexfield Security Rules: View	ABC Flexfield Security Rules: View Only

Step 3: EBS Define the System Administrator View Reports Request Group

Next, create the Follow Request Group…

Users of a Responsibility
Sign on Audit Concurrent Requests
Sign on Audit Responsibilities
Sign on Audit Unsuccessful Logins
Sign on Audit Users
Sign on Audit Forms
Reports and Sets by Responsibility
Report Group Responsibilities
Cross-Validation Rule Violation Report
Cross-Validation Rules Listing
Active Responsibilities and Users
Active Users
User Profile Option Values
Function Security Function Report (other FS reports don’t include exclusions at the responsibility level)
Concurrent Program Details Report

Finally, create the following responsibility:

NOTE: Each of the functions should be tested individually to make sure they have compiled correctly and are truly view-only before granting to any users.
