Soundproof Windows in San Antonio for Homes in Noise Zones

Living close to the airport is as much of a problem as it's a convenience; the deafening roar of planes flying overhead can make quiet days an impossible dream. Homes within so-called “noise zones” can apply for a federal program to have doors and windows soundproofed free-of-charge. However, News 4 San Antonio reports that those who qualify for this program aren't getting anything. Findings revealed that many airports weren't updating their noise maps every five years, as per regulations.

The 4 C’s of a Great Home Improvement Experience - CLEANLINESS

We’re continuing our series of The 4 C’s of a Great Home Improvement Experience, based on our clients’ responses to this third-party survey question we ask them at the close of every job: “How did the people of Southwest Exteriors make you feel loved and cared for during your project?” The first two ‘C’ categories their answers fell in were COMMUNICATION and CARING. The third category that we discovered was CLEANLINESS—very important to maintain when working in someone’s home. Some homeowners are very afraid of the potential untidiness of a large home improvement project, while others have no idea how messy it really can be. Our skilled installers work very hard to keep our clients’ homes as clean as possible when replacing their windows, siding, or doors. This includes spreading drop cloths inside to catch dirt and debris, removing the window glass in large pieces to keep from shattering, and thoroughly cleaning up at the end of the day and the end of the job. Clients noted several ways that they felt loved and cared for when their homes were kept clean during projects:

Careful to respect the property

Making improvements to your home does no good if something is damaged in the process.

“They had respect for the way I needed to do things in the house and worked around me.”

The 4 categories that their responses fell into were Communication, Caring, Cleanliness, and Craftsmanship. In our previous article, we shared several of their comments that related to how their experience was made pleasant through clear and consistent communication. Right now we want to discuss the second category of showing our clients how much we care about them and their home. Here are some examples of the words of actual Southwest Exteriors clients:

Treated homeowner like friends or family

There is no better feeling than to work with someone you feel like you’ve known for a long time. Clients mentioned ways that Southwest Exteriors team members were personable and showed them respect:

At Southwest Exteriors, one of our top priorities is to achieve excellence in client care. To help with this goal, we have used client surveys, conducted by an independent third party called Guild Quality, to study the specific things we have done in the past to make clients feel loved and cared for during their siding or window projects. When analyzing the responses, we found that clients’ happiness repeatedly narrowed down to four main ‘C’ words: communication, caring, cleanliness, and craftsmanship.
