The attribute code “PLA” has been changed to “PLX”.
This change is intended to avoid confusion with the abbreviation for a specific type of plastic pellets—polylactic acid, a subcategory of biodegradable plastic pellets—commonly used in public communications.
The update has been agreed upon between SMDG and the WSC.
The definition of the codelists ATTRIBUTES, HANDLING, and STOWINS is now combined in a single Excel workbook.
The workbook provides these codelists, the changelog for each codelist, and a tab explaining the usage of these codelists.
