DMSC IMTS Meeting/Mixer Draws Potential New Members
The after-hours DMSC Meeting/Mixer event at IMTS brought together a gaggle of members and non-members as a networking opportunity and abbreviated business meeting. The networking aspect of the event gave participants an opportunity to renew old friendships, while the meeting portion updated everyone on the latest DMSC activities.
DMSC Welcomes Newport News Shipbuilding
DMSC membership continues to grow as we welcome our newest member, Newport News Shipbuilding. Founded in 1886, NNS is the sole builder of nuclear-powered aircraft carriers in the United States and is only one of the only two U.S. shipyards capable of building nuclear-powered submarines.

DMSC In-Person Meeting at IMTS 2024
The DMSC invites all to visit us at booth 135001 at the upcoming International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) in Chicago, September 9 – 14, 2024. An IMTS conference room has also been reserved for an in-person meeting on Tuesday, September 10 with appetizers and refreshments.
Joint DMSC/MTConnect Working Group Seeks Additional DMSC Participants
On 10 February 2022, v2.0 of the proposed MTConnect Standard commenced a 90-day review cycle. Starting with v2.0, the normative MTConnect information model will be an XMI file rather than text documents.
