What Will Get Your Family to Heaven? How Craig and Jamie Henry Redefined Success Beyond Business
Craig and Jamie Henry, members of the Lafayette-Acadiana Legatus Chapter, know that the greatest success in life isn't found on a balance sheet. It's found in a faithful marriage, a Christ-centered family, and a willingness to serve others.
Craig's entrepreneurial journey has included leading MAS Transportation and Logistics, a company specializing in super heavy haul transportation for the oil and gas industry, before shifting his focus to Bradford Food Group, a food distribution business with bakeries throughout Mexico. While God blessed his work in business, it was through Legatus that Craig and Jamie discovered a deeper calling: allowing their Catholic faith to transform every part of their lives.
Building a Chapter and Redefining Success
Craig's path back to the Catholic Church wasn't a straight one.
After leaving the Church as a young man and marrying outside the faith, he eventually found his way back into full communion alongside his now wife, Jamie. Looking back, he sees that return not simply as coming home to the Church, but as the beginning of becoming the husband, father, and leader God was calling him to be.
"Legatus has helped transform me into a husband, father, and community servant," Craig shared.
Their Legatus journey began with an invitation from Sam and Sally Lavergne. At the time, the Henrys joined the Baton Rouge chapter because there wasn't yet a chapter in Lafayette. But before long, an unexpected opportunity arose.
Encouraged by Stephen Henley, Tom Monaghan, Fr. Bryce Sibley, and other faithful leaders, Craig and Jamie helped establish the Lafayette-Acadiana Chapter in 2014. Rather than simply joining a community, they became part of building one, creating a place where Catholic executives in their own city could grow together in faith.

Every story has a turning point.
For Craig, it happened during a Legatus Men's Enclave around 2016.
While speaking with Legatus founder Tom Monaghan, Craig admitted he had been wrestling with pride and the constant desire to acquire more. Tom responded with words Craig has never forgotten.
"You know all that stuff you are trying to acquire will not get your wife and kids to Heaven."
"It hit me like a ton of bricks," Craig recalled.
That brief conversation became a defining moment in his life.
Instead of measuring success by what he accumulated, Craig began asking a different question: How well am I serving the people God has entrusted to me?
"From that point forward, I began measuring success less by what I accumulated and more by how I served my family, employees, and community."
The change wasn't instantaneous, but over the following years, that new perspective reshaped not only the way Craig approached business but also the way he approached life.
Turning Hospitality into a Ministry
Today, the fruits of that transformation are evident throughout the Henry family's daily life.
Craig and Jamie attend daily Mass, receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation regularly, spend time in Eucharistic Adoration, and pray the Rosary together every day. Inspired by Tom's challenge, Craig often prays two or three Rosaries daily.
Their desire to serve has also grown beyond their own home. Together, they founded Holy Trinity Catering, a nonprofit that provides meals for Catholic school retreats, ACTS retreats, and weekly dinners for Catholic families. What began as a business-minded couple has become a family deeply committed to serving Christ through hospitality.
Outside of their business, the Henry’s have also been blessed by the faithful community they’ve found through Legatus. Craig describes the relationships formed with Catholic business leaders across the country as invaluable. Through Forum, conferences, pilgrimages, and countless conversations, he and Jamie have found companions who continue to encourage them toward holiness.

Reflecting on their journey, Craig finds it difficult to identify just one blessing that has come from Legatus because every aspect of their lives has been touched by it.
