Here is a short but pleasant slideshow of the vast collection of artwork that was produced as part of Creative Aging Arts Day 2015. The artwork itself is currently on display at Hamilton House which is located just off Amsterdam avenue on 73rd street (141 West 73rd Street, NY 10023).

An unlikely “grandad” took Britain’s art world by storm last month with his first gallery show – a one-man exhibition in a pop-up space in London’s trendy Campden neighborhood. The name of the space was Grandad’s Gallery. The show’s humorous title:  “No Need to Shout.”

People age 85 and above are one of the city’s fastest growing groups, but they are almost invisible. Six New Yorkers share their stories of love, pain and abrupt change.

100,000 older adults will participate in activities at more than 1,000 locations throughout the U.S. on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 as we celebrate the 22nd annual National Senior Health & Fitness Day. The common goal for this day: to help keep older Americans healthy and fit. Always set for the last Wednesday in May, National Senior Health & Fitness Day is the nation's largest annual health promotion event for older adults.
