Medical intuition, also known as medical clairvoyance or psychic diagnosis, is the skill of using extended perception to read or assess the health conditions of another person. Defining characteristics of medical intuition are that it may be practiced non-locally, without the need to be in the same location as the person being read, and that it may be conducted with no prior knowledge of the client’s personal or medical history.
Entheogens, or psychedelics, are psychoactive substances used for thousands of years to alter consciousness specifically for spiritual, religious, or shamanic purposes. In these contexts, these substances have been used for healing purposes across many cultures. You may have noticed the resurgence of a psychedelic renaissance. There is a revival of interest in clinically studying their potential therapeutic effects for a wide range of health problems – such as mental health, addiction, and chronic pain – in clinical settings.
Last month, The Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) announced that 108 essays were submitted for the Linda G. O’Bryant Noetic Sciences Research Prize. The prize was established to recognize groundbreaking research in the field of consciousness. IONS is now pleased to announce the identification of 10 finalists for the $100,000 prize.

Intuition can be one of our most trusted sources of information and insight. However, to many people, it remains a mysterious feeling that can’t fully be put into words.
During an Ayahuasca ceremony, a participant looked across the ceremonial circle and noticed tattoos in the Maori tribe style starting to form on another participant’s face. He watched, enraptured. After the ceremony, the participant’s friend approached him and exclaimed, “I saw the weirdest thing during the ceremony! There was a woman who started getting Maori tattoos all over her face!” The participant gave his pal a startled look. How is it possible that they experienced the same hallucination? Was it just a coincidence?
Can human consciousness affect the physical world? Being able to reliably demonstrate that consciousness can directly interact and change the physical world would be a game-changer, especially for breaking out of the materialist paradigm, or the paradigm that believes only physical matter (and energy) makes up the world.
As humans, we are complex and multidimensional beings. We are present in the physical world while simultaneously being energetic and spiritual.
