IONSX is the Institute of Noetic Sciences’ innovative research program focusing on practical applications of nonlocal consciousness-related phenomena. This program is studying how mental intention directly affects the physical world, and ways that our perceptions can transcend the conventional limitations of space and time. These effects are often referred to as psychic or psi phenomena.

At IONS we like to say that true coincidences are rare. Rather, we experience meaningful — occasionally profound — synchronicities that emerge from information and energy beyond space or time. That is how I feel about the official launch of the Noetic Leadership Initiative this Fall — the synchronicity of its emergence at the end of the most challenging and evolutionary year in recent human history.
Sincere thanks to all who participated in Giving Tuesday! This year marked the very first time that IONS launched a robust Giving Tuesday effort and it was a success on many levels! As you may know, IONS decided to provide one free gift every hour on Giving Tuesday. All of our video gifts combined were viewed 625 times in total with the most popular being, The Science of Consciousness. The videos of our Facebook Live events have been viewed a total of 2,472 times to date.
IONS concluded its special Fall series of 13 ConnectIONS Live webinars on Friday, December 4th with the third and final Noetic Leadership session, providing a deep dive into the framework leaders can utilize to integrate both inner wisdom and intellect to noetically inform their decision-making.
While 2020 has been very challenging for many of us, it has also delivered opportunities for change that we may never have considered otherwise. We are hearing from people from all over the globe who feel called to create growth and transformation — the kind of growth and transformation that will create deep and meaningful impact for themselves and for the world. At IONS, we refer to this as a Moonshot, a bold and exciting personal or global passion project.
Giving Tuesday, held on December 1st, marked the launch of the IONS End-of-Year Fundraising Campaign. Sincere thanks to all of the donors who made gifts on Giving Tuesday and to those who generously provided $250,000 in matching gifts. We still have quite a ways to go to reach our $500,000 goal. All gifts up to $250,000 will be doubled through December 31st. And, if you have a corporate match where you work, your gift could be increased even more!

I’ve been needing some silly brightness these days to counteract the disintegration of things I once saw as solid. I channel the chaos into my soup pot — hoping an alchemy will occur to provide some healing. Or as my nana would say, some Jewish penicillin in a pot.
IONS Chief Scientist, Dean Radin, PhD, was recently interviewed by Rick Archer of Buddha at the Gas Pump (BatGap): Conversations with “Ordinary” Spiritually Awakening People.The BatGap website describes: Ordinary people everywhere are undergoing a shift to a more awakened state of consciousness, thus transforming their understanding of themselves and the world. For some, the shift has been abrupt and dramatic. For others, it has been a very gradual process of awakenings. Awakening is an ongoing process and as such we are not necessarily claiming to interview fully enlightened individuals. But rather, for the most part, ordinary people who are experiencing a shift in consciousness.
