CR Meyer was a Platinum Partner in helping sponsor the U.S. Venture Open held on Wednesday, August 14, 2013. The U.S. Venture is Northeast Wisconsin’s single largest one-day charitable event dedicated to fighting poverty. The event is held at several regional golf courses: Oneida Golf and Country Club, Green Bay; North Shore Golf Club, Menasha; Mid Vallee Golf Course, De Pere; Fox Valley Golf Club, Kaukauna; and Wander Springs, Greenleaf.
Charles Rudolph Meyer, a German immigrant living in Oshkosh, WI, established a masonry business in 1888 that would grow to become CR Meyer, the nationwide industrial construction and heavy industrial contracting business of 2013. In 1932, Meyer’s masons were asked to assume carpentry responsibilities during the construction of Bergstrom Paper Mill in Neenah, WI, and he operated as a general contractor from that point forward.
Jerad Wilson was promoted to Vice President at CR Meyer in May 2013. Prior to his promotion, he was a General Manager for 10 years at the Tulsa, OK, branch office. Based out of the Oshkosh, WI, corporate headquarters, Jerad will now manage major customer relationships and supervise a number of the company’s branch offices located across the U.S.
