Optimus Prototype AI Object Detection System

This week SYNOPTIX successfully installed Optimus prototype AI Object Detection System at a Network Rail Level Crossing in the South West region.

Working with our partner; University of Leicester, SYNOPTIX will be trialling the Optimus System continuously over the next 3-4 months to gather and process census data in real-time, with the potential to demonstrate enhanced effectiveness in supporting Network Rail’s objective of reducing risk and improving safety across the UK’s network of Level Crossings and Safety Barriers.
