Have you ever felt that you somehow know a close friend or family member’s thoughts, or can sense their emotions even if they’re miles away? Maybe you thought about them and then moments later, they reached out. Or, maybe you had a strong feeling that they were in distress or needed support, only to find out later that your instinct was correct when you reached out. This fascinating experience, popularly known as telepathy, has been reported throughout history and in all cultures. If you’ve had one or more experiences of telepathy, you may be interested in a new research project we call Mind2Mind.
Here’s what you need to know:
The IONS science team is exploring the potential of telepathic connections, aiming to deepen our understanding of how people might communicate beyond the ordinary senses. We are recruiting pairs of people who have experienced instances of telepathy and are interested in participating in neuroscience studies of this phenomenon. By volunteering for this study, you’ll be part of a groundbreaking research project designed to help us better understand the nature of human communication and interconnections.
As part of the study, you and your partner will complete a few short, simple surveys to help us learn more about your connection and any similar experiences you’ve had with others. Here’s the breakdown of the process:
Each step is simple and gives us valuable information to understand potential telepathic connections. Read more about the study here or watch this short clip.
While there’s no direct payment for this study, your participation makes a big difference! This is an opportunity to actively engage in scientific exploration of a commonly reported psychic experience that’s still poorly understood.
Ready to put your telepathic powers—or open-mindedness—to the test? We’d love to have you! To learn more and apply to participate, click here.
